twodo is a lighting brand for which Shindo Denki Sekkei handles everything from planning to design and manufacturing.
The company began around 2007 as a unit of two engineers, Masahiko Shindo, who specializes in electrical design, and Kozo Ando, who specializes in housing design. While each was working for a manufacturer at the time, they began to work on the entire process of planning, designing, manufacturing, and packaging lighting fixtures with an unprecedented simplicity, warmth, and functionality.
In 2010, Shindo became independent as Shindo Denki Sekkei, and twodo was positioned as a lighting brand of Shindo Denki Sekkei, and the products were officially launched as products, keeping the previous philosophy intact.

All twodo products are assembled and packaged in Shindo Denki Sekkei's workshop in Akita Prefecture of Japan.
